Founded in 1911.
Burned down by the Great Kanto Earthquake in 1923 but rebuilt in the following year.
When we research Edo period, most of remaining materials are housed and preserved in Chuo District of Tokyo.
Libraries in the region play a huge role in curating such valuable historical sources.
They are the keepers of our history.
