Aftermath of Games

So the games are over.  
Sadly there has been a rapid rise of coronavirus cases especially in Tokyo.  
Whether it was adequate to hold such massive event in a situation like this, history will tell.  
For us living and working in the City, there's not much value in "if-this-if-that" at this point.  
We held the event for the world, and we face what is to come.  
That's all there is.  

"I know but if we had postponed or better yet canceled it, we wouldn't be in this mess...."

Yes, yes, all that may be true.  
But let's just stick to what we can control for now. 
That we be practical and realistic, make the best of it.  
Frankly that is all, actually the only thing we can do. 

Hope our friends in Paris will learn something from our case.
