The main and front gate of Zojoji Temple.  

At Zojoji Temple rest six of the 15 Tokugawa shoguns.  

The above present gate was rebuilt in 1937 in concrete accommodating effectively with traffic that goes through.  

It is this abruptness of history you face by simply walking in the city is another interesting facet of Tokyo.  

Not just the artefact or the architecture themselves but it makes us the witness to the changes of the times in Tokyo.
